Well my dad smokes and I am a ashmatic. Aka I have a lung condtion. The smoke affects me and I have to use my inhaler alot. He has been tryin to quit but he can't. I find that a load of BS. Im goin to start taking drastic measures. He has been smoking for 28 years and I want him to stop NOW. Before I don't have a father anymore. |

It's probably none of my business but I can tell you first hand how difficult it is to quit smoking. I smoked for 26 years before I quit. But I couldn't quit until I made up MY mind to do it. A smoker can't just quit. It takes hard work and effort. I've been smoke free for 10 1/2 years now and I still fight the urge at times. JC, when your Dad decides to do it, he can, but not before. You won't be able to force him to quit, regardless how bad you want him to. Just keep reminding him how much you want to keep him around. |

Ok thx man. It's just frustratin cause I keep fearin one second he will be smilin at me the next he'll be lyin dead in our house or at his office or in his truck. |

dude i have terrible asthma too, like the first couple months after i was born i had 30% lung function. asthma sucks balls and i have to carry my inhaler everywhere |
