well when no ones on the server sometime i can pw it, i know both commands to get it locked but i dunno which one you put in first LOL and if you do it in the wrong order then it screws it up so id have to find that out first.

ehhhh well that proly takes more than 30 seconds to do allt hat then you have to reset it for scrims? Plus i dont have the rcon config stuff i just use consle for the server, but i was in another rifle only clan and to lock the server down we just did this (remember maybe vesi-versa): rcon set sv_privateclients ______ rcon set sv_private password ______ ----and then after we finished we typed something like: rcon set sv_privateclients 0 BUT im not sure on that, and i dont wanna try without a go go, so dont take my word on that for your server until im 100% on it unless you reallly wanted to try it.

I can lock the server thru the config file and set it up for password. This isn't a problem... The problem is getting everyone organized to really scrim. We will also need a way to contact the challenge caln leader of the password. They can give this password to the members who we will be fighting, and I will also need a way to give the password to our members who will be in the fight. This is how we did it in {NAZI} and it seemed to work well. We didn't have to deal with a butt load of IP's to enter. 1 number off and someone cant get in, and lets face it guys, I am NOT the greatest typest... and age is calling for reading glasses these days :shock:

toon, trust me the simple rcon commands are MUCHHHH easier and it only takes a few seconds to lock and unlock, in AGF we did at least 3 scrims a day and i was usually the one to lock the server. But ill figure out what the commands are and give it to you then sometime soon we'll test it out. This way we just go on the other clans teamspeak and give them the PW then to connect they open up consle when they are in their sh menu and type (in consle) password ----- then: connect ---(IP)----- plus this is also when teamspeak comes in handy, for scrimages.
